• Design products related to Human-Computer and Robotics Interactions.
  • Perform prototype development, design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA), and FEA analysis for robotic systems.
  • Develop electrical prototypes (hardware and firmware) using application-specific integrated chips (ASIC) and sensing technology.
  • Develop artificial intelligence algorithms and front-end applications from the robotic system.
  • Plan and implement integrated systems utilizing electronic sensors, communication protocols and mechanical responses for natural robotic sensing and movements.

  • Require Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    Require skills or coursework in:

  • 3D solid and surface modelling in designing software including SolidWorks/Catia/Inventor.
  • Design of robotics related electronic components including sensors, PCBs, power management systems, and communication protocols on IDE’s/ROS/other controller platforms.
  • Prototyping Tools: CNC milling and lathe machines and vacuum formers, laser cutters and 3D printers.
  • Front-end applications development on Unity, iOS, and Android.
  • Industrial design for design features, functionality, material selection and ergonomics.
